Heads Up -- Promotional Headwear is Hot!

Hey! You! With the bare head! Want in on a secret? Caps and headwear are often overlooked when businesses are considering wearables, but few products are more effective when it comes to promoting a company or a cause.

Here’s what the incredibly hardworking, bright and learned research people have unearthed about headwear: Long after a lot of other imprinted apparel items have been relegated to a closet shelf or the bottom of a drawer or, gasp, the giveaway pile, caps and headwear continue to be worn. This is good news, folks. It means if you opt for headwear to feature your company’s logo or slogan or tie-in to a particular event, you’re getting a lot of mileage (in marketing speak, that means exposure).

Even better? The options grow wider every day. Just think in terms of baseball caps alone for a minute… you have at least a half-dozen styles to choose from – soft, slant-front, peaked, 6-panel, adjustable, elastic, two-color, sandwich-brim, etc. (The possibilities will make your head spin.)

As for where to imprint or embroider, the promoter’s options have expanded there as well. Sure, front-and-center is good. But how about the brim? Or the back above the adjustable strap? Imagine an event where attendees are seated in bleachers, with your logo right in their line of vision on the back of every head. Cool, huh? (Oops, we mean hot, like the headline in this post says.)

If you want something a bit different, though, ROBYN can show you the possibilities – ranging from bucket hats and ski caps to berets and snap-brims. (Oh, we’ll have fun doing a fashion show with your head!) And different applies to materials, too. Cotton rules -- today, organic cotton more so than ever -- but we ought to talk about wool, polyester, and felt as well.
