Event Invitations That Score!

The Bases are Loaded and You’re Up at Bat…

If you’ve ever had the chance to hit a Grand Slam – whether in Little League or playing on an over-40 team -- you know how good it feels to score big.

At ROBYN, we keep this thought in mind when clients ask for help in putting together an invitation to a special event or activity. Think about it – if your intended guests don’t bother to open your invite, you’ve struck out.

Here are five secrets to ensure a home-run invitation:

Clever counts. We don’t mean car-shaped stationery for an invite to an auto show. We mean something that speaks to the occasion in a unique way. For instance: screen-printing a guest pass on a keychain, adding a note card specifying the date/time of the event, with a message that says, “Rev up for an exciting showcase of automotive ingenuity.”

Quality is critical. If the paper is flimsy, the copy has poor grammar or the print job is splotchy, why should the person you’re inviting think the event will be top-rate?

Give ‘em a keepsake. For example, send jars of spaghetti sauce with customized labels to announce an Italian Dinner. Enclose a “recipe” card stressing the recipient is a key ingredient to the occasion’s success. They’ll remember the invite and the event every time they use the recipe.

Make it personal. Today’s digital technology allows for inexpensive personalization. At ROBYN we’ll make sure everyone on your guest list feels like a VIP.

Bulk is good. There are sooooo many ways to make your invite stand out in a pile of mail! Shaped boxes, vinyl envelopes filled with confetti, interesting sound-chips… and that’s just for starters.

Sound intriguing? We’d love to help you fill the “stadium” at your next event. Call ROBYN at (877) 211-9711 or e-mail us here
